Because the door is profoundly linked to our daily comings and goings, it would seem to be the ideal place to integrate a function able to translate the passing of time ; not as measured data but as a reminder of the passing of our days. Inspired by the solar quadrant, The door of the sun gives a coloured perception of time flying through our home.
From the exterior, a thin slot, 15 cm long, lets the light in to the home through a play of different coloured filters.  Each hour has its own hue, according to the sun’s position. Inside, the rays are made visible by a screen, creating a luminous language that anyone can annotate and make their own.

La porte étant profondément liée aux aller-retours quotidiens, elle me semble être un lieu idéal pour intégrer une fonction liée à l‘écoulement du temps. Non pas comme donnée chiffrée mais comme témoin de la progression de nos journées.
Inspiré du cadran solaire, La porte du soleil permet de donner une perception colorée du temps qui passe à l’intérieur de la maison. À l’extérieur, une fine meurtrière de 15 centimètres de long laisse entrer la lumière dans l’habitat à travers un jeu de filtres colorés. Chaque heure dispose de sa propre teinte, suivant l’angle d’attaque du soleil. À l’intérieur, les rayons sont rendus lisible sur un écran, offrant un langage lumineux que chacun pourra annoter et s’approprier.
